Apple Announces iPhone SE - More Power Means More Radiation

iphone se announcement

Today, Apple Inc. has announced their latest iPhone called the iPhone SE. While it may look familiar, being that the physical dimensions are identical to the previous iPhone 5 and 5s models, its internals have been upgraded, making it faster and more powerful.

Apple claims the processor is twice as fast as that which was featured in the iPhone 5s, the camera has been updated to 12 megapixels, and to expect "improved" battery life.

While the iPhone SE figures to be popular among those who prefer the smaller, more "one-hand friendly" form factor of the iPhone 5 and 5s, there is one major drawback. As with all electronic devices, more power means more radiation. By nature, faster processors draw more power which emits more ELF (Extremely Low Frequency) and improved signal components mean increased RF (Radio Frequency) radiation.

The great news is, our iPhone 5/5s cases that have been lab tested to block over 92% of ELF and 99% of RF radiation will work with the new iPhone SE! Click below for more information.
